STAVROS DANIOLOS Stavros Daniolos studied at Sunderland Poly and Newcastle University, graduating with a M.Sc. in Marine Engineering in 1979. He served his military service as Engineer Petty Officer with the Hellenic Navy. His first employment as Superintendent Engineer was with Canopus Shipping in 1979 where he stayed until the end 1984. In 1985 he joined Ceres Hellenic Shipping Enterprises as Superintendent Engineer attending the fleet of oil and chemical tankers till 1995 when he was promoted to head the Technical department, position held till the end of 2000. Early in 2000 he moved to Athenian Sea Carriers as Chief Operating Officer, position held till September 2001. In 2001 he joined Minerva Marine Inc as Technical Manager, position held today. Stavros Daniolos is a member of the Technical committees of major classification societies, member of the Safety of Navigation and Environmental Committee of the Greek Ship Owners Association and member of Intertanko Technical Committee.
