PAPADIMITRIOU EFSTRATIOS UNIVERSITY OF PIRAEUS Dr. Stratos Papadimitriou is a Professor at the department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus. He is also the director of the Transportation Systems Laboratory that was established over a decade ago. He has acted as an expert and adviser to Ministers of Transport and Economy, the European Union, the World Bank, the EESC, OECD, on a variety of issues ranging from transport development, financing and transport policy formulation issues. He has written three books and over seventy research papers in academic journals with over 3000 citations.
